The mundane

Okay, I want everyone to realize this doesn't have to be earth shattering news. It is a way to keep in touch and become more familiar with each other's lives. For example-today we got to sleep in. Last night we went to the season opener for the Atlanta Braves, very fun. We didn't get home until 1:00am so everyone slept in. I had to get up first because I'm dog sitting for our neighbor's very obnoxious lab shepard mix. Jane has finally felt good today after getting her tonsils out last week, so all day long she and her friend Savannah have been having a blast. They put on make-up, came with me on a bike ride to the P.O. and the store and jumped on the trampoline with the sprinkler under it. An all time favorite. Sadie is amazing me, we started potty training the day before yesterday and she did not have a single accident yesterday, even on the hour long ride up to the game and at the game and sleeping through the night. Today is going just as well. I guess that is what happens when you wait till they're almost old enough to drive a car before you potty train! Ellyn is also amazing me with her total lack of interest in learning to walk. She will be 14 mos. next week and she will not walk. She pulls her legs up and laughs at you. She is a very sweet baby who wants to stay the baby forever. Most likely she will. I'm doing well, staying very busy. Right now I'm in our Young Women's presidency and coaching Jane's soccer team, not to mention physical therapy twice a week for my back and there is always an Army function to attend. Mike is busy, but he's home. It looks like he will most likely leave for either Korea or Iraq this fall so we are enjoying our time with him.

There, that is a brief update covering the mundane and a little of the big picture. I hope we'll all use this. I think it would be fun.
Love, Brooke
