Seattle Bennett in Colorado

To My Darling Mother: while it easy and all to often apparent that I pick at my mother and at time poke fun at her there are a few rare occasions that I will actually come to grips with reality and say some nice things about "Crazy Red" (with or without the white streak) and if the universe aligns (meaning one of her children help her get online and take her to the web page and show where the up and down arrows are) she will be able to read this. Mother's day starts out in the red wherever you maybe. Mom has already taken this day of appreciation for her and gone to Utah to help her helpless son as she does every time one of her grandkids enters this world. She shows what motherhood is about and that is selfless acts of a pure altruistic nature. Mom has always led, she was born to be a leader as the oldest child in a single parent household she helped in leading her younger sisters in how to act and grow. As a mother in an almost single parent household raising her children in righteousness, not sparing the Rod mind you. Mom would always come into the room and it didn’t matter what you were watching, she would somehow time it to be at the worse part in the movie of course she would tell you some sort of story about if a fly got into the blender and blah blah blah make you feel guilty about what you were watching and you would turn it off. Or when you had something on another sibling big or small you would just have to say it in front of mom and then they would be in for a 30 min lecture on how taking your vitamins will help you sprout wings and fly like an angel and she doesn’t want to hear about you not taking your angel wing vitamins. But mom has always been about the memories whether it was a trip to the tri-cities to show you where she grew up, going doorbell ditching on Christmas eve and showing what the true meaning of Christmas is, watching “the Ghost of Mrs. Muir” on Halloween, or the call you get on your birthday telling you about the day you were born how she undoubtedly cleaned house till 2 in the morning and then woke dad who tried to talk her into going to sleep and having the baby at a normal hour. Mom has always been a great example, one that is hard to live up to, and is impossible to equal. I love you very much Mom and have a happy mothers day.
Love Adam
