Hello all

Hello all! Monica was pretty upset yesterday when she went to post her message and it prompted her to sign in again. She did so and lost all she had typed.
I will try and summarize what she had to say. We had an offer on our house last Thursday and we should be signing a contract tonight. It is an older couple buying the house but only the woman will be living there. I thought it best not to ask why he wouldn’t be living there also. It was a full price offer, which we really weren’t expecting. His only stipulation was that we fix the railings around the front and back porches, add a garage door to the garage and pay a percentage of the closing costs. These were all things we had already planned on doing. We will end up with a couple thousand more than we had planned on.
We found out that we are still in the running for the two houses in Layton. We really hope it works out. They were built through the Utah Housing program, which is for middle-income families. Basically all we pay for is lot and materials. Students in the Davis County School District did all the labor and they have done a great job. If we get the house we would have plenty of room for you to stay with us when you come Brooke. Both houses are 5 bedrooms finished, you may have to sleep on air mattresses but you would have your own room. That offer goes out to any of the family if we get the house. We would only be 2 or 3 minutes away from Alicia and Kevin.
We’ll keep everyone posted on how it all works out.
I finally got Monica to write on the blog and I think I am getting closer to talking Paula into it too. I know if she starts reading she will be hooked.
Jordan is busy. His show at Lagoon goes through the whole summer, I’m not sure when it ends. He is also working graveyard shift for us running our lining machine. Between the two jobs he doesn’t get much sleep but he’s doing good.
This week looks like it will finally stop raining and the sun should be shining all week. We are looking forward to getting some things done outside. We have 4 window seals to finish painting and the garage door to put on and we will be done. We are having the railings installed.
I’d better get to work but I thought I needed to touch on what Monica was going to say.
