red til i'm dead bennett
which should be any day now. red and dead that is. life is good especially now that i've read that jack has a whole bunch of pioneer outfits that one of the girls offered for jane's little house on the prairie party. send them a little early and you will be an answer to prayer. i am in charge of the "ma's and pa's" for our stake pioneer trek wa hoo. after i get thru this week of seminary, honor's awards, certificates of graduation, getting all the teaching supplies turned back in, a quilt put together that one of the classes made quilt blocks for and wanted to donate it to humanitarian aid, "cleaning house" of all gratuitous scriptures, notebooks, and classroom supplies, having everyone move their things to their new rooms ready for next year in each of our 6 buildings, getting teacher contracts signed for those returning, trying to turn in names to be approved for next year to teach for us, certificates of completion, graduation itself, kids called for the program, tablecloths, 200 cinnamon rolls, 12gal. of milk and i think they want me to speak, so there is the talk and ask mindi or brooke, it takes me a while to put together a talk as random as possible so i can leave them wondering just why they asked me to speak and possibly not ask me again. actually i do like to speak. it's such a treat to be able to teach and not be interrupted, which happens every once in a while, but then it's usually when they have their eyes closed and they are just trying to "concentrate on the spirit." back to my original thot i was going to go to work on some pantaloons, aprons, and sunbonnets. if i can borrow some of yours i can concentrate on the load of bark in my driveway, cleaning up after the siders are done siding our house this week. meaning powerwashing the rain gutters sidewalks and driveway, finding new exterior light fixtures, painting my front and back doors and casings, cleaning the roof (actually that's jordy's job yeah!) painting the decks, and underneath because it will be a different color, washing the windows, having the floors replaced in the upstairs bathrooms, and our bathroom. and meagan has made it abundantly clear that she will not be ignored at the birth of this baby so we are fitting that in too. i thot at some point in my life i would sleep. it's not looking good for any time soon. i have left a few things out like trying to teach all of revelations in 2, one and a half hour classes for institute and subbing for 2 days for seminary and visiting classes for 2 days. i would hate it if life were boring and it isn't. it's been forever since i have been here to read so there was a lot to catch up on. mike you are easily in 1st place tied with cory with the picture and subtitle mom/g'ma thing. adam please follow the instructions for the swedish chainsaw cory read me--do not attempt to stop moving chain with thigh or crotch. are we clear on this. mindi enjoy your days in the mtn.s. cameron let me add my condolences also about the toe. when i dislocated my big toe playing soccer with the kids i at least had the satisfaction of having kicked geof. adam did offer to pull it back into place for me. hey if what it takes is to have brooke and mike move in to get you all to concider coming up for a visit, good deal whatever works. we will look forward to it. more than likely unless more than 1 or 2 more miracles occur between now and then you can see a "work in progress" sounds like you all had fun over the weekend. it was one of our best ever. could have been beter if we had everyone here. got to go, take care,(even tony) love you bye ps do you think cory will forgive me for eating the rest of his salt and vinegar chips. this could test our relationship. there is a reason i don't buy them besides the fact that my tongue is now peeling and almost past feeling. if i throw the can thing away maybe he will forget he had them, think?
