HAPPY BIRTHDAY LeANNE

You simply have to look at her posterity to quickly understand what an amazing woman LeAnne is. In baseball terms she has hit a grand slam home run in the categories of Mother, Grandmother, Sister and on a personal note, Wife! I will always remember falling in love with LeAnne on our first date, a full moon under a big beautiful tree looking into her beautiful eyes and knowing that I was in the presence of the girl of my dreams. While I was intently focused on her physical beauty that night, I have since realized that the only thing that exceeds her out ward beauty is her inner beauty. I can honestly say that the greatest blessing in my life is having LeAnne as my wife.

As I look at the challenges that my children and their wonderful spouses face in raising their children, I realize that I was very unaware and unappreciative of what an amazing job LeAnne was doing in raising our children to be the outstanding individuals that they are. I think as a mother LeAnne was that perfect mix of teacher, task master, best friend and out door enthusiast. I didn't see the greatness in LeAnne as a mother until I stood back and saw the results, and of course she is still mothering and grand mothering as hard as ever, and no doubt will continue until the Lord decides he needs her back.

As a wife LeAnne handles the challenges of being married to me better than any person I can imagine. Her coming to this earth is the greatest blessing in my life and I think in the lives of many reading this blog. She is a fiery redhead, a cleaning Nazi extraordinaire and at times a real pain in the butt. However, she is my little redhead and she is the love of my life and she is one of the very finest spirits ever to come to this earth. I cannot imagine how this family could function without her and without her fierce testimony of truth and right.
