wow it has been a busy summer already! jane left us today and i don’t feel like i have even got to spend quality time with her. she is such a sweetheart and growing up to be such a good young women (even if she does love to argue with her younger cousins A-lot.) i was at camp last week, lifeguarding, which was amazing! so i missed some time there but she was so good to take care of my little monsters.
we try to swim 6 days a week which is working out very well unfortunately i haven’t been grocery shopping in a month. not so good. we took janey and mom and dad to the coast and up to the Olympic rain forest. we had so much fun. wow we live in a beautiful place. i just have to remember this in april after it has been raining for 7 months.
tomorrow is cory’s big day and we are going to go for a ride (see if we can kick his 32 year old butt!) nothing like adam’s mammoth rides, but enough to wipe us out for the rest of the day. hazel is officially a swimmer. it is funny to see someone that little swimming all over without a life jacket. they have all turned into fish. jack can swim across horse shoe lake and back which is a 1/4 mile swim and benn does it multiple times with a life jacket. i think she could do it without but she usually goes with just her little friend and i don’t want to risk it. tonight will swam out to the buoy which is half way across the lake in a tube then decided he didn’t need the tube to get back. he is a crazy good swimmer! janey also swam across the lake TWICE! amazing! cory and i are getting ready for a trip to canada with two couples from our ward. we are super excited to go on an “all adult-friends” trip. we will be in the mountains just east of glacier national park riding, hiking and swimming. yummm! we have to depend on our friends now that almost all of my siblings have left us and mom and are planning on buy a tent trailer and traveling around the country staying in different wal-mart’s parking lots. oh well at least i think brind and jules will be around for awhile and we are on serious count down waiting for our sweet little violet to arrive! well i think this was enough randomness for one night.
love to all………….me

Geez you guys are a ton of fun! I wish we were there to swim with you. We went to the pool last night, but after reading your post I don't think I'll ever enjoy the pool again. I'll be wishing I was in a WA lake watching my kids learn to swim like their cousins! Happy Birthday to Cory!!
It is in the low 60s every day here. Sometimes in the high 50s. It is crazy. It is great weather here in the fall and we do get sunbreaks almost every day but I do love my summer.
Pics, PLEASE!! Happy bday Cory!
