4 Generations of Ed Week
Just some notes....Ed Week. The first time I went to Ed Week was when Geof. was a baby and I had discovered my brain had turned to mush...I could no longer take notes in class because I had forgotten how to spell. I missed a few years off and on but since Brooke turned 14 and I took her for her b'day I have only missed one year. We flew down and they announced to everyone on the plane that it was her b'day and she got to serve drinks with the stewardesses. Yes, They were stewardesses then, not flight attendants. She was so cute! We roomed together at Helaman Halls. I knew I would keep going forever when she told me, "You know Mom, the speakers say the same things you do about boys and dating and....." Me, "You are kidding me? They do? Perfect! And you listened to them! We're in!!!"
When I first started going I would meet up with Megan, Michelle and Aunt Marcelle. We even roomed together for a few years. Bob and Katie (aka Bob and Betty) asked us to stay there and when we finally did it started a wonderful reunion of cousins, Bennetts, Rigbys, Beechers! I had been afraid we would be too big a burden. Their hospitality knows no bounds. Awww the fun we would have all of us trying to get ready in the mornings! Then classes with all the cousins/friends...you did go to a few of the classes right? Feed my fantasy and tell me you did!!! At night back to Bob and Katie's and all of us taking turns reading scriptures around the circle. Kneeling and saying prayers together....could it have been any better!!!
This year Janie came with her old G'ma and Jack turned 14, so he and Meags came down too. What was really fun was Bob and Katie's oldest g'son is Jack's age. Meags set it up with Ryan and Jackie, for Caden to spend the night Wed. and go to classes and the dance with Jane and Jack. They never remember meeting each other but they were so cute together!
That makes 4 generations And so the tradition continues!!!! What I really owe to Ed Week is the strengthening of family ties.
I Love You all. I could have written so many memories but I know if there aren't pictures no one reads past the 3rd or 4th paragraph anyway!

What a great tradition!
I read it all! I would've loved to see a pic of Caden, though! I hope to do Ed week next year!
I will look forward to you coming! I know we should have taken a picture of all of them!
