If you build it.....they will BLOG!

Yo Yo Yo....it's T-diZZle from the hospiZZal... ok, that was lame but I felt like I needed to start with a catchy one-liner for my virgin run at this.... for unlike "shoe-less" Joe Jackson, the seasoned veteran, I am new to this! I feel much the same way as Garth did when he said: "It's like a new pair of underware....at first they're constrictive, but after a while they become a part of you..." This, I hope, will be the case with my attempts at blogging, I hope that in time this will be another routine thing to do during the long hours that I wait around here for people to have heart attacks... I do, however, agree with Geof as I feel like I am akwardly stumbling into an enrichment night activity or something of the like with the obvious FEMALE to male dominance. Compact this with the fact that I'm not a Beecher...a Bennett...or a Rigby, you may understand my initial apprehension but in the true blogger spirit I feel that to contribute tis far better than to not. So here it comes... For the past few months I have spent the majority of my time with my nose in books and my hands playing around with cadavers in the deep dark dungeon which is the University of Utah anatomy lab. However grotesque this may seem, it has been the most fascinating experience of my life. I have gained a new respect for the endless complexities of the marvelous machines we call our bodies. In a strange way this has also strengthened my testimony as to the divinity of our origin. It is hard to mention something like this in a field dominated by "evolutionary" perspectives, but I can't help but see the "divine" in every part of our construction. Well, enough about dead people, on to the living ones... I am quite relieved today as I took my last final for this semester and have a nice summer break to enjoy before I start a long radiology program at Weber. I am again relieved that Jess is graduating (pending a passing grade in math this summer...) on friday. She has worked hard and deserves to be finished so she can move on to bigger and better things...and no... I don't mean babies, that I leave to the baby making machines which are the Beecher kids...i.e. Geof and Darla, congrats, but isn't it about time to get going again...you guys aren't getting any younger. As for other highlights in the life of a poor college student I would like to announce that I have found the love of my life... she is always there when I get home, she is loads of fun to hang out with, I can turn her on in mere seconds, and she is NEVER tired... yes, she is fantastic... I am of course talking about my new xbox. It is a beautiful thing really when sixteen men can sit around untill the wee hours of the morning simultaneously blasting eachother away at Halo. We have come a long way since the days of pong and frogger. Well, I promised myself that wouldn't blab aimlessly about nothing but I guess that is what this has turned into. I am glad that you are all doing well. (at least those who I know!) Congrats to Geof and Darla. Word up to my lil' hommie Jackson, keep it real dogg I feel ya... Adam and Mindi & Co., don't be strangers. Cory, thanks for making us all feel guilty for not buying our wives flowers, and Meagan thanks for letting everybody know it! Just to let you all know, you are all welcome at our house any time.... just bring tents! Love to all, take care, Tony is OUT!
