Jess that is really cool that you have a swarm I will actually be out there memorial weekend for a mission reunion and could take care of them for you. In the meantime if you really want to get rid of them you could call another beekeeper or a swarm hotline, I can't believe that no one wants them my bees cost $70 per hive so you have about $70 worth of bees in your back yard. Of course if you want to keep them which I recomend because they are extreemly fun and interesting you could just start out by putting a bird house bigger than the swarm is and they would most likely move in to it and then at night you can just plug the hole and take them to a corner of your yard or your parents garden and let them chill but really if you want to use them and harvest the honey I have a spare base board, enough frames and could make you 2 hive boxes then I could buy you a lid($20) and some foundation($25) and you would be set for a while. The only other things you would need and that you can buy later would be a smoker($40) and bee suit($70) of course if you just want to look at them you don't need the smoker and the suit. and yes we do keep them in our yard just to the side of our garage about 15 feet from the enterance and the girls stand 15' away while we open the hives and they haven't been bothered so its been pretty nice.

Adam, I'm making a comment. Ha Ha. Did you see the article on CNN.com about the collapse of hives throughout the country. It's interesting, you should read it.
I told Mindi this morning that my sister is no longer using her cell phone because she it ruins the bees communication lines....or something.
