it has been centuries since i have written anything besides picture captions.  i find the blog a little overwhelming at this point in my life.  in fact there are few things that i don't find overwhelming.  to be honest right now i can not think of anything that is not overwhelming.  not that there is much going on in our lives right now.  just the same everyday hussle and bussel that really get me going.  benny is getting ready for her spring show so she has ballet 3 days a week, jack has tekwondo 3 days a week and they both have school 5 days a week (that really puts a kink in things).  then there is scouts, and cory working 2 too many jobs (one is ok, three can get to me, but i am grateful that he is willing to do so much to take care of us.)  we also have soccer and social obligation, which we try to keep to a minimum and all the other stuff in between.  i know i am a whiner, but you know how you will be going along hunky dory then all of the sudden BOOM! everything goes to pot?  however i just got done talking with rose about her ex husband and i am reminded how blessed i am.  some people's lives really are depressing, and i do not have one of those lives.

jack, because he just turned nine, got to move into my scouting group and we are both so excited.  he could not be sweeter if he tried.  everyone who called and wrote for his birthday, thank you!  it made me cry!  he truly is the perfect oldest child and grand son.  we have the two best examples of loving and including when it comes to jackson and janie! 

      

had to break up the monotony with some pictures of fishing with papa dave.  haze was there too but cor didn't get a picture of her before the camera went on the fritz. 

for wilohm's story before nap he chose a story about the nephites waiting for the sign of the birth of Christ.  when i explained that they were going to be burned if they believe in Jesus i asked if he would say he believed in Christ knowing he could die.  he said "i believe in Jesus and i know that he would save me."  he blows me away!
