On Friday night I reminded Geof. of the 10K Monument Avenue run the following morning. He decided to do it with one of our friends from the ward. He didn't want to pay the $30 registration fee (surprise, surprise), but it didn't seem to matter. It was raining pretty hard during some of it, but it was a lot of fun for the kids and myself to watch. Cole entertained himself by sticking his arm out and "giving five" to all the runners. Geof. told me this was his first race ever (other than high school). This really surprised me until I realized I've been with Geof. ever since high school...well, practically, and yes, this is his first race since we've been married. He enjoyed it but thinks he'd have more fun doing triathalons. He also forgot to put any band-aids on his nipples (ew...yucky word), so they're pretty sore. Ya Daddy!
