holy cow life is so busy. three kids in school, three in soccer and a three year old with a play group. i make three trips to and from the school every day on my bike and the trailer needs a new tire so haze goes on my back in her back pack, which she loves! plus at least one kid with practice every night this week. sometimes two… at different fields of course. the kids are all about riding their bikes to school. i love the sun, and for now it is sunny enough to ride every day. i’ve decided that now my job is just running kids, waiting for kids and feeding kids. that is what my whole day consists of. i clean the kitchen no less than 300 times a day. and the folding….well who knows when i will get to that. oh how i wish for the carefree days of summer. sleep in straighten the house then decide at which park, river or lake we were going to spend the day.
our families favorite bit right now is daddy/pa moving home! we couldn’t be happier if we tried. he gets back from texas tonight, after a long list of miracle flights, at 11:00 and the kids could not understand why they could not see him tonight.
can you believe it is 9/11. i remember coming home from a run and watching it on the news. then i remember going down to utah for alicia’s wedding and lying in joan’s pool without any planes flying over which is so weird for layton.
the two youngest had their first games on saturday. benny had a double header. in her first game she had scored 2 goals before cor made it from the parking lot to the field. she scored a total of 7 goals in that game. she was pretty worn out for her second game because she had been sick for over a week so she only scored 5 goals. ellynn told me to chill when i got all worked up because they kept taking her out. a total of 12 goals for both games and played less than half the time. wil played his first game ever and did sooo well. he is so dang cute and totally aggressive. i love watching him play. he scored a goal and had only been to one practice. he loves to play so it is so much fun to watch him.
jack just got on an 11 year old team and although he hasn’t played a game yet he keeps up with the big boys very well. dad found him the sweetest cleats at the nike outlet. i think they make him run faster and kick harder.
thankfully soccer is so fun to watch and as soon as the kids are done with their season cory and i get to start playing again.
now that i have bored you with all the boring details i will say good night……….me
ps cole had his first game too and it is so cute watching him run around the field. he looks just like his daddy did so many years ago.

Meags, you are a biking fool. I wish I had a bike, I got a trailor for my birthday, but still no bike.
What good little soccer players you have. I wish I could see them play.
I miss the soccer days. Looks like a lot of fun!
