Halloween Weekend
Our shrunken heads. Gross huh?
My front entry. I think it looks better in real life.
Our mummy candles. I know, I can't believe I did multiple crafts with my kids all in one month. It is so unlike me.
Our finished pumpkins- we are not experts. What face is Sadie pulling?
Oh, that one. We followed up the night with caramel apples and Rear Window. We had to finish the movie Saturday morning because we all fell asleep. We started carving the pumpkins at 9:20, after the girls got home from the dance.
Sadie as Giselle. Call me a pageant mom, but she looks so pretty.
Ellyn was Laura Ingalls Wilder, our little pioneer girl. She did not cooperate with pictures. She did love eating all the candy though!
Sawyer made great "tough" faces all night long. Daddy slicked his hair back and it was awesome.
This was our ward Trunk or Treating party. It went from 4:30-6:00, then we drove home and Sadie, Sawyer, Jane, and I joined a group of neighbors to canvas the neighborhood for even more candy booty.
Jane was Mother Nature. She won the contest at the middle school for the most creative costume. Cool huh? Edie was Joan of Arc which I thought was very creative and fit her perfectly (and it was a cool costume). They should have tied.
Mike didn't dress up, he just went as himself, so did I.

Jane and Edie get a little violent. Green pumpkins are not made for carving
Daddy, Sawyer, and Sadie scoop. Sawyer loved working on their pumpkin.
Ellyn chose to hang out in her jammies on the couch. She occasionally wandered over to check out the progress.Daddy, Sawyer, and Sadie scoop. Sawyer loved working on their pumpkin.

ha ha ha ha!... that last one is great - not that i don't believe it - it's just that i could hear the tongue-in-cheekedness.
bennett is blown away that there was only one comment and demanded that i comment as well. cory and i agree that you really did go as yourself brooke. all the kids look great. my kids did too, however we are bad parents and didn't take any pictures. dang it, i wish i had!
Oh my gosh Brookie. I have so much to say about that post. Love Sawyer's slicked back hair. Love that Paris picture next to your piano. Love all your kids costumes. Love your angel costume...and you really are an angel! Love that you are slowly becoming a pageant mom...when you start talking about extensions and flippers I'll really be worried. Looks like you had a great Halloween!
