yesterday..and a bit of this morning.

Geof. and I woke up yesterday morning and ran a half marathon trail run at Pocahontas State Park. Here we have a before and after pic with our friend Erin who came down from Philly for the race. It was exhausting. Brutal. I hurt the whole time. An absolute mind game.."I have to finish..I have to finish.". Running on a trail with trees all around you and not a lot else (including people) is a challenge. I needed more to look at..and some more cheerleaders would have helped. I didn't realize how much easier road running is. Geof. started 2 waves behind me and still managed to fly by at mile 5. He did agree that it was a very difficult run, though.

And then we hosted a b'day party for Geof. in our backyard. It was very crowded and very fun. But we wiped out by 10:30 and in need of sleep.

How DO you do these runs, Meags?!!

June at Costco after the race. We were so exhausted.

Dayne and June fought all morning over who got to wear a certain dress with its accesorized doll. Dayne won in the end..but funny enough (but not really funny), she decided to leave the doll in the van before church. So June was all torn up about it..and Cole got it on camera. He also got a few other things on camera.

I know Meagan has a high tolerance for pain and boredom with those runs. I have neither.
I love the pictures. Such cute kids, all of you!
Geof. you really still wear those pants in public. Bring them to Nauvoo and I will get you an updated version!

Darla you are a sweet wife hosting a party for Geof.'s birthday. I just am not social.
WWDD....What would Darla (and Geof. and Mindi and Adam) do? In fact all of you are like your dad. Jason, Mike and I get along great...alone!
