ColoradoBennett--Arboretum
Can we plan a family reunion to the Arboretum? It sounds like such a wonderful place. The only reason I know how to spell it is because there is an article about traveling in Seattle in my LDSLiving magazine. So my beloved husband is now a lumberjack. He has been going up to the mountains (to my Dad's latest purchase in Granby to be exact) to chop down beetle kill trees. Today Sierra was telling Kaia during dinner that Daddy was in the mountains and we decided to say a prayer that he makes it home safe b/c it is raining cats and dogs. During the middle of the prayer she stood up in her chair and asked "those mountains?" while pointing out the window. When I nodded yes, she continued with the prayer. Just making sure Heavenly Father had the right details I guess. We used to be able to see the Rockies from our kitchen window, but alas that is no more. No complaints about our new pad, though, I like it. We are even thinking about letting a pair of newlyweds shack up in our basement until they find a place of their own. I feel bad for them. You really need your own place in that newlywed situation and I think one of their other options is to live with the in-laws. And by a pair of newlyweds I just mean one husband and one wife, just want to make sure that my wording is right there. So, Jess, I've delved further into our meddling with whom Brind writes to on his mission. Libby brought some of the pictures with her to young women’s last night and I tried the "so do you like him, or do you like him like him?" question. She blushed and her sister shouted "She likes him likes him!" None of which is Brinders fault I suppose and it's not like he isn’t following in the steps of his older brothers who left a trail of heartbroken women behind them. Well, the lumberjack is now home and I’ve never seen the girls so excited to see him. Adam said Kaia took her first two steeps to him while I was in the kitchen. Happy day. Pregnant women of the blog: I just read that if you get as much rest as possible during the last months of pregnancy (meaning at least 7 hours at night an a 15 min nap or relaxation time during the day) that all that rest could help cut your labor by 10 hours! I know you think I’m nutty, but I swear by the relaxation thing. Goooossseeefrraaba.
