Here I sit at work striving to look busy while people think of new ways to ask me to do things for them. For instance “what’s the weather like?” My response “do you have a window?” Their follow up question “are people flying?” my follow up answer “do you have a window?”
Let’s not dwell on that. This weekend was great I loved being up north with the cousins it reminded me of when we’d come visit as young ones. I feel sad that I saw more of the cousins when I lived 800 miles away. I will rectify that though. So Cameron I’m sorry about your toe, if you had been playing with us none of this ever would have happened. I would like to add to the class I went to with Mindi. The teacher as part of an object lesson brought rolls to class. They looked dang good and he told us that following the lesson whoever wanted could have them. Immediately Mindi and I turned to one another and smiled the famished ravenous smile. As the teacher was winding up the Indian giver began to throw two count them two towels over our rolls and slide them behind the protective flowers and other visual displays atop the table. It was a relief society room Fort Knox and he knew it. We were drawing up plans on how to get the rolls when he must have sprinted to his car and locked away the goods. Mindi and I weak from not eating in moments crawled to the next class.
Last story. Last night Darla and I took Cole and Dayne to see Robots at the dollar. Cole sat through the whole thing mesmerized. Except when he got excited at which point he’d stand on his seat put his hands on the seat in front of his while jumping and laughing. He was so cute. Dayne is the cutest and if you want to see pictures of her go to Ericksonfamily.org and click on new pictures. It was fun to finally be with Darla again. I loved you all and wish the whole family could have been there.
