How was everyone's 4th? We were supposed to go up to the mountains to join my parents in the festivities up there, but didn't feel like making the drive. So we went to a parade in Nederland then watched the street performers in Boulder. The fireworks got rained out that night so we watched the show in New York and put the girls to bed right on time. Then last night we went to see the "make-up" firework show. The girls were only slightly impressed. The highlight of the holiday is the cheep candy that is thrown from the parade floats, not the expensive fireworks.
