Support blog
I'm supporting Mindi.
I am going home tomorrow. It is such a good feeling but always cautious that something crazy will happen like "Welcome to Fort Lewis, you will be getting on the plane to Afghanistan Monday, enjoy." I don't expect that, but in the military you have to prepare your psyche for everything.
I just packed my suitcases full, and am waiting for what will likely be a restless night's sleep. Even though this latest school has been only 4 months, you really have to add in another 4 because the family moved up from Monterey early:-(
It will be nice to be up near all the family. Hopefully we can balance the two sides;-)
So, that's my blog.
Here is a pic from Savannah we took when Brooke was down here:

Mike! Thank you for the contribution to the cause. It is great to hear from you and so so so wonderful to know that you get to go home tomorrow. Congrats on your major accomplishment of completing all that schooling under grueling circumstances.
Mike I am so excited your on your way home! It's going to be great. I do pray that you get to have a "normal" life for a while. I can't wait for Brooke's foot to finish healing and all of us to do some runs. Plus some awesome mountain biking!!!
Yes hopefully poor Sawyer can lay to rest the question "when is my daddy coming back?" for a good long while!! Travel safely today!!
That's really up to the pilots, which is why a hate flying as a passenger. Type-A personality issue, I guess.
Just keep practicing in your man cave and one day maybe they will let you fly the plane.
Things to look forward to!!!!!!!!!!
