Crabbs

Well, it's been fun reading all of your blogs. Geoff, I wish I could have come down with everyone last week. Monica said Dayne is beautiful, congratulations! I can't believe that we are only an hour away and we never see each other. That's pretty pathetic.
Meagan, that storie of Jack and Bennett knowing that you would have a girl was pretty amazing. Kids just know things and it's inspiring to have kids and listen to the relationship they still have with Heavenly Father. Some of you have probably heard this story but I think it's great. A few months ago Harley started talking about how Heavenly Father loves the children. If you know Harly she still sneaks into our room almost every night to climb into our bed. As she was talking about Heavenly Father she asked Monica if He would let her sleep in his bed when she goes to heaven. Monica said, "do you know how big His bed would have to be if all His children wanted to sleep in His bed?" Harley said, "Yeah, like a mile." That night in her prayers she told Heavenly Father that she knows He loves her and she knows He will let her sleep in His bed. After saying Amen she looked at me and told me she forgot something, she then bowed her head and said, "I forgot, when I come to heaven can I eat in your kitchen and can we watch Sleeping Beauty on your TV?" Anyway, it's fun to see that she can just talk to him as if he's right there. I know it's reminded me that I can do the same.
Trying to sell our house has been anything but fun so far. Ogden City has some screwed up laws about duplexes. We had to go down to the city last year and register with their good landlord program and they issued us a business license. Needless to say we thought we were in compliance with their laws since they gave us the license. A man who went through our house and wants to buy it checked with the city and they don't show us as a registered duplex. Monica spent hours at the library looking up the history on our house. We tracked down people who lived in our house and had to get them to write statements that it had been used as a duplex since 1949. It was a lot of work but we should be getting a certificate of compliance this week. It has been a fight but hopefully it will pay off and this guy will really want buy our house. We have found a house in Layton that we would love and we are going to look at another one in the same area tonight.
Anyway, life is busy but we are enjoying it. I'd better get back to work.
Cameron
