ColoradoBennett-strawberries

Last night I was standing at the sink washing and cutting up 5 lbs. of strawberries. My mind was running through all the stories I'd read on the blog and I was so happy. I keep laughing to myself imagining the Rigby girls riding a uni in their basement. Alicia, I would have run off too if Sierra started waving to some unseen soul. I'm flat out terrified of ghosts, yet I love cemeteries. And scary movies, no way. I made a pact with myself to never see one again after watching the "Sixth Sense". I can't even walk through the kitchen at night without seeing that scary woman from the movie standing there. Brooke, what ever happened with your soccer team when they played against the all-boy team with the die-hard coach? Meagan, what was it that pulled Cory away from the fam for the night? I hate staying home without the hubby too. I lock all doors, put up the chain, stack chairs against the door, etc. I was house sitting for my grandma once and Adam couldn't sleep there with me because he had to work early the next morning. I made him drive up there anyway so that he could cast out any evil spirits that might be in the house. I just knew the creepy feeling I got in the basement every time I've gone down there since I was 2 wasn't just in my head. Now, creepy feeling is gone and all is well.

So I painted my gas stove today in the kitchen. I got both girls to sleep at the same time today (very rare) and decided I'd better take a quick nap too. Well, Kaia didn't like that idea so she started crying and woke me up after a few minutes of blissful sleep. I got her back to sleep but then sleep fled my eyes and I needed a big project. Adam bought me a can of spray paint that I could use on the stove so I got to work. Less than halfway through I ran out of paint. I took a quick look in the mirror and noticed that my hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, and face were all off-white. Spray paint is a bad way to go indoors. Luckily, Adam was able to buy me more paint and take the girls for a few hours so that I could finish the crazy mess before our BBQ at 6. As he was leaving I said 'Oh, wait, I forgot to give you some diapers!.' He said, 'Oh, that's alright, I just won't change them.' Hey, that's a great idea. I should have thought of that two years ago.

Ellery is flying in tomorrow and then we are going down to Pueblo for the oldest Winters' boy's wedding. I sure hope they have dancing. I've been working on my Napoleon Dynamite moves. I'm off to wash this paint right out of my hair...
