I See Dead People-Brooke

Alicia, I just couldn't resist that title for my blog. It's been stuck in my head for over a day now. Okay, I know only a select number of you have heard Ellynn sing "Some Days You Gotta Dance." But, I venture to say that she could have outsung Carrie the other night with her "Sin Wagon" rendition. I did not hear anyone else, as I was off to the pool. Today I ran a bunch of errands and then met friends for lunch at Olive Garden. Yesterday, I went out for my friend's birthday breakfast. I feel downright social. Of course I came home and changed out of my cute clothes and scrubbed bathrooms. Nothing brings you back to reality faster than scrubbing out a toilet.

Have I mentioned my dog is in heat? I know, what a thrilling topic of conversation. I feel so badly for her though; as she sits day after day on the back porch. She can't come in the house because of the mess and she can't go outside because she is fertile myrtle right now. It was 90 degrees at 7:00 last night. Does that sound wrong to any of you? Me too. Tomorrow is our last soccer game. Yeah! We are having a BBQ after the game here at our house. Why oh why do I do that to myself? I love coaching soccer but I didn't ask for a soccer mom and so that's been the thing that has made me crazy-picking up trophies, calling everyone for everything, making snack schedules. I'm sure my family will be happy to have normal dinners again. I will be. Well speaking of soccer the lady just called to say our pictures are ready and she will only be in her office for 20 minutes, so I am off for now.
