Aunt Jack
Leash and Jess, I am so sorry. I'm glad everything is going well now. I can not imagine how scary that would be. Please give aunt Jack a hug and a kiss from us. We will say lots of prayers for all of you ( you probably all need them now). Besides the near death experience, how do they think the surgery went? Keep us posted.
Lydia, must have posted before the two of you as she happily and obliviously babbles on about pie and chocolate. Either that or she has had her own serious sugar OD and just isn't herself.
Another hot humid day in the south. Today I have spent the day packing and making these stupid invitations for this coffee my friend and I are hosting next week. So frustrating, I got to the PO to buy stamps and the envelopes were too big for 37 cent stamps. It is 49 cents to mail these stupid things about four miles at the most. The other ludicrous part is that they don't make 49 cent stamps (what do they do for wedding invites?) so I have to buy 37, 10 and 2 cent stamps. Except that they only have 10 of the two cent stamps left so then I have to buy one cent stamps. So my envelopes look like they were mailed from Egypt instead of the same freaking zip code. However the PO was five minutes from closing and the lady that works there is always really sweet and she stood there and helped me put all the stamps on since there weren't any other customers. Luckiluy we are doing the coffee at a restaurant so my stress out part is over. Now I just get to go eat.
Ellyn does a great job walking now, as long as someone holds her finger. She could do it just fine on her own but she has to have the security. Okay, I think I already told you that and my kids are begging for dinner so I had better go. Love, Brooke
