Seattle Bennett living in Colorado

HAPPY HAPPY DAY A DAY OR SO AGO WAY TO GO LEASHY AND KEV

So yes we have missed the Stinchfield stories on the blog you would think Mike as computer savey as he is would have some wireless link set up for the entire ride from Georgia to Washington but of course if he did have that set up hed probably be gaming right now. So yes we did climb mount Democrat and while it is a 14,000 foot mountain it is nothing like Rainier for one the elevation of Denver is already 5800 feet by the time you drive to the mountain it is about 10,000 feet an the trail head starts you at about 12,000 so you do gain altitude and you have a little climb but altogether I think it was about a 6 mile grunt to the top however the true difficulty was that true to its name "Democrat" there was no sure footing and several misleading paths that went nowhere. this weekend we are planning a little less wake up early climb above tree line (no SHADE) hike a little longer but into a lake and have a nice picnic. Life remains the same I am currently playing middle man between owners, builders, and developers which at this time are fighting over little stupid stuff that I have to communicate back and forth and have no power to solve the problem but just get yelled at. for this reason Mindi and I will be leaving for 6 months after the next project wraps up and will be heading to Mexico where our only source of communication will be the blog so no one give this web address to my inlaws.
Mindi the girls and I watched one of Jan's games here in Denver and then I had a great time playing with Paula and co as we drove around Denver and wore out poor little hop-a-long Kel out as we walked a few of the city streets.

qoute of the day first coined by our very own leashy lynn "WORK SHMIRK"
