we are in serious countdown at our house.  the 4th of july is right up there with Christmas for us.  parades, candy, bbq's, warm weather and fire works.  what more could we ask for?  oh yeah i know what....ellynn and jason.  the kids are really excited because today we can say, " the day after tomorrow" , instead of having to say a number of days, until e and j get here.  hey geof. and darla, don't you think you could just whip it together and get out here for the 4th?  chris has one heck of a firework show in the making.  he is so funny, i think he would like to start his own real show.  the chris allen amboy extravaganza!  i don't know if that is what he would really call it but i think it sounds pretty good.  i am already planning all of our red white and blue outfits.  i don't know about your neighborhoods but ours have been shooting off fireworks for about a week now.  from 4:30 until 12:30, every night.  cory thinks all the russians that live around here are just really excited to be in america. 

we went boating on saturday and it was incredible.  we found our own private beach with sun and shade and a rope swing.  i wish we were closer with the people we went with so we could go again, but once is better than never.  what really makes me mad is that my father-in-law has like 4 boats and not one of them is a ski boat.  i was asking cory if we could take his big fishing boat out and at least pull a tube behind it.  "there are two motors"  i say to cory.  "yes meagan and one goes a max speed of 4 mph".  right, i guess that won't add much power.  oh well. 

i'm stalling right now... i should be upstairs finishing cleaning out the play room and turning it into a luxurious studio apartment with detached bathroom and kitchen.
