My First Race
My running buddies (one of which has a two month old son) decided to run the Gobble Wobble in Denver. It was so much fun. I'm so grateful that Adam and the kids made it in time to cheer me on to the finish line!
There was face painting and a bounce castle and plenty of swag. Sierra is the queen of scoping out free things, like water bottles, and she gets enough for the whole family.

I think I would have to pry and pry to get race stats out of you and you would never boastfully post them here on the blog. But since I'm so vain I'll post that I got fourth place in the women's . I was in third for about half a mile and was super excited cause I knew there was a prize for 3rd. But she passed me when I was giving it my all and I knew there was no hope for gaining on her again. So I had an 8.19 pace overall. My next 5K is in 2 weeks and I hope to get under 8 min/mile.
