Frozen Dead Guy Days

For at least 5 years our family has gone to this kooky little festival in a tiny mountain town celebrating a man who has been cryogenicly frozen.  Three years ago, Adam decided we needed to put together a team for the coffin race. He built a coffin at work with his friends during craft time. Ellynn and Jason drove out from UT to be part of it. Then, it was cancelled due to high winds. The next year we were all set again with a team, but the weather foiled us again with a blizzard. But this year we would not be foiled. We put a team together at the last minute (my aunt and two teenage cousins, a friend from the ward and his son, Sierra and Adam). The weather was perfect, the crowds were unbelievably big. There were many teams with elaborate costumes (some painfully inappropriate even tho they promoted this as "family friendly"). The obstacles were a challenge and poor Sierra was dropped from the coffin three times and our team lost.  Poor competitive Sierra took the loss hard (plus she is pretty bruised up). All in all, we had a blast...but that's prob our last FDGD

I love being with Adam as he interacts with all types of people, all walks of life. He is so fun, has fun ideas, and likes to do crazy fun things. People are just drawn to him. I just love him so.
