Fondue Recipe...

Do you guys remember our friends Ben and Coby from Provo?  Well Coby's wife Sarah would like to do a fondue party for her sister's baby shower but I told her I didn't make it, I only ate it, but that I would get the recipes for her.  Could you guys hook me up with those either on the blog or email.  Thanks so much.

Love Jess

Hey Jess. I use a rough combo of these two recipes, but they all achieve the same effect:

and

a few things: Emmantal is Swiss cheese, you don't need the Kirsch, and we always toss in a tsp or so of lemon juice. Also, we almost always use cornstarch instead of flour.

The key: get the lemon juice and wine boiling, then add the cheese. we often make it in a pot over the stove, keeping it really hot, then at some point it goes from seperated to an ooey gooey smooth and beautiful concoction. Its like magic. Then we transfer it to the pot. You can do it however you want, thats just how we do it.

Wow. That's just way too complicated for me! But I do want to eat it!
