Nie Nie
For months I have been reading the Nie Nie Dialogues and getting to know Stephanie Neilson and her family. On August 16th I was shocked to find out that she and her husband were in a horrible plane accident in Arizona. They were badly burned and will be in the hospital for months. Their 4 children have been taken into the care of family members here in Utah.
Design Mom has initiated a silent auction to help raise money. So tomorrow I will be honored to host my own silent auction and the proceeds will go directly to Stephanie and her family to help with medical bills and other expenses as they recover.

This has completely consumed my spare time at work. I am in awe of all of it. So sad and so eye opening. What are you auctioning Jess?
I am the same way. I have been reading over the past blogs and it is just heartbreaking to see this beautiful family now face this future. I did a "Jess" and spent much of last night awake (after Ellyn woke me up) thinking about them.

Mindi and Jess I love both of your auction items. I want either but Mindi after reading what Rosie wrote I can't find it within myself to outbid her. If you get a chance today tell me what you think. Otherwise I'll bid on Jess' cuz I love that picture as well. You girls are awesome! I just sat her and bawled as I looked at both of your blogs
