Elk Camp 2009
This past weekend was our annual trip up to Estes Park. Camping was a little rough because the wind was so strong. At one point, around 2:30 a.m. a gust came along that lifted the side of the tent that Kaia and Tristan were sleeping on and threw them over on top of Adam. Ruby gained at least two pounds and I have sworn off co-sleeping with a baby in a mummy bag. Otherwise everything was wonderful.
This is Adam scaring the crap out of poor Tristan. And Adam wonders why T fears shoulder rides so much.
Adam and I have been on the Fast Track Liver Detox plan for five days and I have to say that I feel awesome. I'm modifying a bit because of nursing. Every day I've sent Adam to work with a big salad, fruit, and some sort of healthy meal. Mostly I think he likes that I wrap his meal in foil so that he can put it on his truck engine and heat it up while he drives around. I don't know what a manifold is, but apparently food that is heated there tastes yummy and makes you feel manly.
