ColoradoBennett-Casa Bonita

To me, Casa Bonita is the happiest place on earth. If you haven't been, show up next year around the 8th of November and join us on our annual trip. Not Adam's favorite place, but because he loves me he plays along. This year we had twenty family members join in and it was a dream come true. Cliff divers, Black Bart and his scary cave, the gorilla named Chiquta that Kaia really hates, all you-care-to-eat sopapias, skee ball, mariachi bands, and the worst actors and skits imaginable. My uncle Steve said, "These are the drama students that made it." Too funny. We had our family portrait drawn by a cartoonist but unfortunately it didn't turn out very good. Poor Kaia, everybody is going to think she is a boy until she's about 4 or so because that's how long it is going to take her to grow some hair of significant length. Her personality is starting to shine through and she is a dang funny kid, and she knows it. She'll give Sierra goofy, sideways glances and then laugh to herself. She'll tease and schmoose and win over most any friend or stranger. So attached is a picture of my mom and I in a moment of pure joy at Casa Bonita. Then a picture to entice you to join us there next year. And then our family cartoon.

Abraham Lincoln: "It is difficult to make a man miserable while he feels he is worthy of himself and claims kindred to the great God who made him."
