Morning Run

Brooke running past the famous 6th hole and the lone Cyprees tree at Pebble Beach on our long Saturday morning run where we traverse the course to get from Carmel to the coastal road. Wow, that is a long, incomplete sentence!

What do the kids do while you run? How far away from your house is this beautiful golf course? Amazing.

Answers- We left at 5:30 in the morning. Jane stayed with the kids. Starting next week Ellyn's babysitter will come to the house at 7:30. She was supposed to come this past week but there was a miscommunication. That way Zina will be able to get Ellyn up and dressed and feed her breakfast (which Jane did wonderfully on Saturday- we thought the babysitter had arrived and Jane never even called to say she had never arrived. We ran stress free).

Golf course answer- as the crow flies, one mile. We drive 5 minutes down to the beach (which would be a mile if it was a straight shot but instead is a winding steep trip down). We park at the beach, run next to the waves for awhile and then run up onto the golf course and then out onto 17 mile drive, a scenic drive all along the coast and past homes worth millions of dollars. It is beautiful. This was a 10 mile run and I loved it!
