Here's two shots from our climb today. Mt. Democrat, 14,148 feet, and Adam said it was much like the Democratic party but I'll let him blog his joke later. The girls did great and we had a lot of fun. We'd planned to cross a few saddles and bag Mt. Lincoln and Mt. Bross all in a day too, but the weather was turning, Sierra was sick, and well, maybe we were a little tired. Half of the mtn was a huge rock field with crazy tricky teeter-totter rocks. But we said a lot of prayers and miraculously none of us fell. Our friend Haylee Jane climbed with us and that's her in the picture. Poor Sierra was feeling sick (if she hadn't felt under the weather there is no way she would have stayed so good in the backpack for 5 hours of climbing) and she threw up on the driveway right when we got home. Poor little bear. In fact, I've got to go brush her teeth right now because her breath just about made me pass out. Blog out
