Thanks to you all who wished a happy birthday - it really did make the day better. It's a funny little thing that stuff like that can make a difference, but it does. I married into a fantastic family that now feels like my own, without a doubt. You guys are the best.

The birthday festivities were pretty low-key, as Wilohm is sick and Hazel is small. It was fun, though- lots of family. Low-key is a gift in itself these days. Everything seems so hectic all the time...
