Happy Birthday, Adam!

Happy Birthday, Adam! I am convinced you are one of the greatest men to ever walk the earth. I am excessively in love with you and so so happy to be your wife.

Provo

Just a glimpse at out daily lives :)

Hey mom, so I was just reading the warning here on my bassinet and it says the weight limit is 15. I'm over that by almost 5 pounds. Can I move to my crib? Oops!

Finn! Open your eyes and play with me!

Mom! Cheese!

Uncle Geof. is making me wear this hat over my hood. But he bought me a chocolate shake so I guess he's pretty awesome.

Cheese again!

And just to make sure adam isn't starving in the 98th percentile, he has started on solids and LOVES it!

Honor Roll

Poor jack missed high honor roll by .03. But we are so proud of his 3.47. Benny got a 3.91. This is all on top of student council, early morning jazz band, select soccer, scouts and wrestling. And tons of help around the house. They work so dang hard. I am a grateful mama!!

Vday skirts

About 2 1/2 years ago or so, I found some elastic in a Battle Ground fabric shop. I bought it in hopes of making skirts for my girls (like the ones displayed in the shop). Then when Le Anne took me to Fabric Depot in Portland, I found the fabric. Sierra helped me sew the skirts this weekend (she is now an expert seam ripper & ironer) and we got them done in time for Church today.

Spring Break

I don't know if anyone outside of the first, older, out of state, (or whatever you want to call us) Bennetts reads this blog anymore but here's hoping....
Cory and I are taking our kids to General Conference this year as combined early and late birthdays. Our spring break is the week of April 2. So if we leave after school on the Friday before we will be there in time for Cory to take Jackson to priesthood. I'm sure your spring break is much earlier but we were still hoping we would have some cousins and aunts and uncles to hang out with while we are there. We don't know how long we will be in town but I'm not in a huge rush to get back to the rain;) If I don't hear from any of you I will start harassing you in other ways. Love you tons....Me

Ok really quick I've meant to write this post forever. As you may know I had the amazing opportunity to go stay with Geof, darla and co. I had more fun than I can say. But really it was a life changing experience. Darla and Geof are so amazing. Their ability to talk to everyone and make a connection really opened my eyes to how truly Christlike they are. They really care about others. So when I got home I decided I would try to be more like them. I told mindi about it at Christmas time. So my new moto is... WWDD. What Would Darla Do. It has been awesome how many fun little friendships I have made just saying hi and asking a question or two. Thank you Geof and darla. It really has made a huge difference in my life already. I Love You!!

Geof. and some cute pics of the Willmores :)

Oh hi. Me, again. Come on people..., POST. It's January! What else are you doing??

Geof. and I are going backpacking tom. for one night. Excited! My friend offered to watch our kids for an overnighter for my birthday back in Dec. Our weather has been incredible all weeks. Even got up to 75 degrees on Wed.! Should be a decent weekend, as well.

Geof. spoke a few weeks ago in another ward in our stake (he's in the Stake YMs presidency). I keep running into people from that ward (they meet in our building) and they continue to praise Geof. on not only his speaking/story telling abilities, but also on the man he is. I married well. Thank goodness for that. :)

Geof. had an apicoectomy done yesterday. Poor guy had his gums cut back and scraped away at, and then sewn back. And no complaints from him. Still plugging away at his computer right now working (it's 10:28 pm). I came home from running errands yesterday slightly frustrated by how little I'd accomplished and I walk into his office whining about it all..totally oblivious to the fact that Geof.'s face is slightly swollen. He sits there patiently and listens and then looks at me, lifts his upper lip, and shows me the stitches. I felt so bad. I'd completely forgotten he'd had work done and sadly, didn't realize how serious it was. And today he's swollen up even more. Sorry, Geof.!

Geof. and my new favorite video/song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UVNT4wvIGY Sting/Peter Gabriel, anyone?
